Theo Kollie, one of our HWHL Directors, has been in Liberia with his wife Rebecca and daughter Nyassa, who is serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi. He has given us permission to share his testimony..
God has done and shown us some amazing things. He has confirmed and assured us of his protection, deliverance and calling.
On Tuesday, April 11th Doug (missionary visiting Dr. Chris) and I joined Dr. Chris and her staff in worship in the chapel of the new clinic. We sang, prayed and worshiped the Lord again for his mighty deliverance of three precious lives. Following the sharing of the Word, there were many testimonies from our HWHL Community Health Workers about the power of God to protect and deliver. I also spoke and connected the dots of God’s protection for the team and encouraged them to stay the course.

He has given us the opportunity for genuine Christian fellowship and sharing in our Kakata home, which was prayerfully and purposefully named the Kiononia House last year (Theo and Rebecca’s home is within walking distance approximately 350 feet from the WPHCC). We had some great table fellowship, sharing and prayer time with Doug, Nyassa, Chris and other family members.
As I pondered these things, I was reminded that it is in the intimacy of fellowship that Jesus is recognized – that our eyes are opened to who he truly is – the resurrected, living Jesus! The resurrected, living Jesus is why we boldly go where he sends us!
