2013 was a blessed year for Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia! thanks to the gracious prayers and contributions of our volunteers, donors and supporters!

During 2013 HWHL:
- Treated 2,267 patients, include 755 children! Additionally, HWHL treated scores of walk-in patients!
- De-wormed 8,538 patients; 4,288 of which were children.
- Provided health education and promotion to 11,680 community members.
- Promoted good health through active outreach on Liberian radio stations’ community watch forum programs
- Distributed wheelchairs to 6 adults thanks to Sumaritans’ Purse.
- Distributed 179 dresses and 152 undergarments, donated by Clemson United Methodist Church, to girls throughout Liberia.
- Provided health kits to 219 boys.
- Taught twelve women to sew needed garments.
- Awarded eleven scholarships to children for school and helped four community member start small businesses.
- Referred 23 patients for dental and optometrist care.
- Received pledge of a portion of Village Church of Gurnee Thanksgiving Offering to purchase a truck for HWHL to reach outlying patients.
- Received pledges of $393,000 in generous donations that will fund construction of a new health care center in Kakata, Liberia!
