Update from Liberia 8/26/2014
On behalf of the Health Women, Healthy Liberia! Board of Directors, Dr. Chris Hena and our staff in Liberia, we would like to THANK ALL OF YOU for keeping the people of Liberia in your thoughts and prayers. We would also like to thank everyone for your VERY generous financial donations to Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia! this month. Dr. Chris and her staff have been able to purchase supplies for sanitation stations and other preventative equipment thanks your very generous donations!
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Chris will be returning to the states earlier than originally planned in order for her to participate in a 21 day self-quarantine/health monitoring period as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This will allow her to rest, meditate, pray, ensure her own health and did we mention REST before she officially begins her itineration visits.
We would also like to officially make public the Health Women, Healthy Liberia! Twitter page. If you don’t Tweet, Twitter is an online social networking and micro-blogging service that enables users to send and read short 140-character text messages called “Tweets”. We will be posting breaking news from Liberia, Dr. Chris and her staff, the World Health Organization, and other reputable new organizations that can help keep you up to date on the Ebola situation. We hope you will follow Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia! if you have an account, and if you do not have an account yet, we hope you will join several of our Board members and open an account today. The Health Women, Healthy Liberia! Twitter page is:

We can thank you enough for your continued support and prayers! Right now Dr. Chris and her staff need continued prayers for a peace that surpasses human understanding as they face sickness and death all around them.
